99 golf HO or dual bracket?

What's the biggest Ava alt for a 99 golf? Also has anyone done a dual bracket without loosing the ac??

10k daily. Have 6g31's and enough wire to string a factory. Just need serious alt power to keep up. Looking at the engine bay if I relocate a few things and possibly kill the ac compressor it looks doable. I just want to stay away from expensive bosch or denso Alts and stick with easy to repair and work on ad244's.

buy from a reputable company and you shouldnt ever have to repair them

If it can be done you will have to put in a little work. Even though it's 2011, unless your riding a Tahoe extra alternators are still rare and custom setups. You will need to find someone with metal fabrication and welding skills to make u a bracket that fits, since u claim the room is there. You would be hard pressed to get anyone to make that bracket without that car in front of them.
