mrafrica Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 i need abit of help here. i am no good with box designing and whatnot. specially with a CAD model of it and the fact that my comp is not in shape to run a cad program at this time. but the situation is i have a 1979 f-150 regular cab that i am putting 1 sa-12 in on a saz-1500d. i was hoping to go with multiple sa-12's in the future and get some lows but i cant see it happening with the space i have. i have a bench seat right now. but i am gonna put captain chairs in with a center counsel/seat at some point. so it might workout down the line. but i have messed with some numbers and just dont have the time right now to mess with it anymore. the specs i was shooting for are as follows: 31-32 hz with a slot port using the bottom and back of the box for 2 sides, wedge shaped obvously, sub forward port on passenger side, around 2 cubes, 8.5 deep at the bottom max, 20 tallon the back max, 56 wide max might not even allow me space to mount the amp on the seat. gotta remeasure that one. if anyone could help out or who has any experience with subs in these old trucks id apreciate it. this truck is going to get deadoner all over. thanks. And far as the best connection ever....... get a huge fucking battery, cut the top off, drop an alt in there and then pour all that into your big amplifier. or just smelt them all together.

Do you already have the 12? formerly known as Blue86f150 its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies.
