cc_audio
Sooner or later (preferably sooner) you might wanna take another whack at that box. Yeah, you've got some great equipment and its nice you attempted box building. But that box is not so nice, and I bet tuning is way off. Not to mention you could easily get enough airspace for one 18 to get it under the window line and give the port some real room between it and the hatch. I'm just saying, you are clearly a noob with great equipment, and if the equipment doesn't live up to your expectations, don't sell it (like a lot of noobs do). Most likely you just need to rebuild a proper box. I mean that in the nicest way possible, you can always get a design from RAMdesigns or Ray or whoever else is doing quality sketchup designs. Anyway, keep the thread updated. Also, how do you plan to run a Sundown 4500 at 1 ohm with a D1 sub? It's all gone! The Celica Build Feedback If I buy something from you, DO NOT USE FEDEX! SoCaLBaMF
^ Agreed... you have 82.5 sq inch of port area. Doing some quick math by the box dimensions and how long that port looks, it seems to be tuned to the mid to higher 20s, with less that 12 sq inch of port per cube. I would definitely take a look at doing another box. Bumpindemlowzz
personally i would go small box big port. around 5cubes after displacements tuned in the 32 region. If your tuned in the 35 area it should still play the lower notes well. unless its like a 20hz sine wave haha. 2010 Silverado 18" DC XL 18 DC 2k XS Power Batts
