I'm confused as to why you are choosing to go with 3 and yeah that box does not look large enough for those subs but I'm tuned in to see how this turns out. But IMO it still is small. I would have went with the 4 down firing with a nice port on bottom facing back. Would have made your system look beastly especially in a jeep : ) JS If It's Not Skar It Shouldnt be in your Car! SKAR AUDIO FTW!

bobobass Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 Actually, some of you guys are misinforming him. It is NOT bad to have different brand/size subs in SEPARATE enclosures. Issues start arising when you put them in the same box. I will say it's a bad idea to wire them to the same amp though. It might not be bad for the subs, but you can still run into issues with cancelation.
