I would have stuck like washers in between a layer of the fiber strips. or something lol.. just to make sure the screw holes stay solid and hold up.. just idea i guess.. just thought of it. I've never dealt with fiberglass so i dont know how strong it actually is.. 06 SCION tC

BUT...before i do that...question. i dont have a whole lot of room to move my box...but how close should i put it to the hatch of my explorer to get the most output? port is about 15" long. it's heavy as hell, so if 6 to 10" of movement isnt going to make much of an improvement then ima say screw it
