SSD max safe wattage ?

aq 1200 or some other ~1000 watt amp because thats what they are rated at

Yeh but a btl is rated @ 2k and I see people putting 4k on em

that is also a BTL, not an SSD. plus just because one person does, doesn't mean you can, or that anyone else can/should. when a decent company puts a rating on a speaker, then that's all the power it needs in order to operate properly

depends on a lot of things. like enclosure for one

So if it's the same coil and motor how come uh I'm so confused here.... Why would they use the same stuff and wouldn't it be the same volume?

each series of subs have different soft parts or a combination. and the bigger cone you go the bigger the enclosure because the more air it moves.
