So if it's the same coil and motor how come uh I'm so confused here.... Why would they use the same stuff and wouldn't it be the same volume?

same volume? no. because the cones are different sizes. bigger cones output more sound. smaller cones output less sound. its simple. just because they have the same motors and coils, doesnt mean that they will all be as loud as one another

Just clarifying I'm glad alot of you don't act like know it all pompous asses. :D

<li>I think i can try to provide a bit of informational help. I have two FIs ssd 10" subs on the way and i plan to push around 950 watts to each. I think the summation of all this is don't go over rated rms. If you play at rated rms it's gonna be loud enough, why risk destroying it for that little extra sound that you may not notice and may ruin your sound quality anyway. i think that sums all this up.</li>
