Well, porting through the rear deck is the best way to get sound up into the cabin in this car. The subs are inverted because: 1) LEVEL 5'S ARE SEXY 2) The mounting depth would be too deep for me to keep the port straight along the top of the box. pstone11 Posted November 20, 2011 Author Report Posted November 20, 2011 Was supposed to have this playing this weekend but the starter decided to crap out on me and I can't stand having a car that dosn't run. So, saturday was a day to get that changed out. While I had it out it was a great time to throw the headers on. You would think that chevy 350 headers for a B body car would be "bolt on" but they were an all around nightmare. The clearance between the header and the starter was so small I had to rewire the starter to keep the wires away from the heat. Tell you what though, the difference in sound between open manifold and open header is always a shock. I guess the starter decided to blow itself up... pstone11 Posted November 20, 2011 Author Report Posted November 20, 2011 Today I had to tidy up a ton of stuff, the rear deck is the only real picture worthy thing though. Those polk neo 6x9's are sitting in baffles to keep them separated from the air movement from the subs. Also got those new sail panels put in, it's starting to look like a complete interior again! VIPmeetSPL Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 rivets are awesome lol. was thinking screwing down but there had to be a better way than just start drilling trough s*** dont have to worry about hittn my gas tank since the POS is between my rear seat and trunk. so i will def rivet thank you sir. you have been a great help..only problem i fore see is that i dont have a diagnal brace like you do for the top... :/
