pstone11 Posted October 10, 2011 Report Posted October 10, 2011 OK, got one 79 Caprice Classic 4 door with a 350. This thing is in pretty prime shape for being 30+ years old. Motor runs like a champ, interior is good, and it is about to have a ton of work put into it. On the list so far is a proper 6" spring lift, some 26's on 25 skinnies, DC level 5 15's, pair of kicker 2500's, mechman 220a alt, XS 3400, Kinetik 2400, knukonceptz wiring, second skin damplifier and spectrum, new intake and exhaust, fresh quarter top, and a dakota digital dash setup. This car is heading out to a friend of mine in Italy once it is finished. I finally got the car on friday, so most of my spare time is going to be in this project. I still have a ton of work to do under the hood but I wanted to make sure the new style alternator was happy under there. It is. pstone11 Posted October 10, 2011 Author Report Posted October 10, 2011 I had my doubts that a flip out would fit in here without hitting the climate controls, or being too deep to fit in the dash - I didn't expect such a perfect awesome fit. I'm pretty handy with a mini-hack and a file if I do say so myself..... from 8 Track to flip out DVD in a couple hours. This is coming up soon.........
