TeamHT Posted October 11, 2011 Report Posted October 11, 2011 Sundown's 2500 would be beast Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
nativestacks Posted October 11, 2011 Author Report Posted October 11, 2011 You are not seeing 3,200 watts out of the amp, guaranteed. The Mayhem is beast, if you think you can do it...then do it. If not, then just stick with the RMS. It's not like on 2,500 watts it's not going to get loud. 155? Eh...I think your standards are skewed. 149ish-150 which is still loud. Especially for daily. Don't get caught up on numbers. well unfortunately I know the amp i have wont produce the full 3200 even tho the company told it would till i asked em what the efficiency was and they didnt know. But, 2,500 is weak to me..I already hit the low 150s with my current system, but its not loud enough. Quote
bdog Posted October 11, 2011 Report Posted October 11, 2011 i think the saz-2500 was clamped at 3300rms Quote REP
nativestacks Posted October 11, 2011 Author Report Posted October 11, 2011 i think the saz-2500 was clamped at 3300rms i heard sundown amps were good and thats nice being clamped at that much, but i need more power. Quote

bdog Posted October 11, 2011 Report Posted October 11, 2011 dc does rated @14.4v the saz does it at 12v i would compare the dc 3.5 to the saz-2500 give or take a couple hundred watts Quote REP
