Ecco Posted October 12, 2011 Report Posted October 12, 2011 My tip would be look at all the fine print. Just like credit card companies, they might (and prolly do) have catches and interest hikes if you do something, spend more than $xxxxx, or something else. It's a cool thing to have, but I'm just wary about all of that stuff. excatly what im doing right now. reading everything they have on it. and it seems legit. and a good deal. havent found any hidden catches Can you link me to it? I'm curious now

Guest grim83 Posted October 12, 2011 Report Posted October 12, 2011 how do i get it to let me use bill me later or to find out if i qualify for it? sorry i barely even use paypal so now im curious
Legendary954 Posted October 12, 2011 Report Posted October 12, 2011 the only catch that you must be careful about is this: If you delay payments and wait until may 2012 What will happen is they will add interest from the date of purchase meaning that whatever your monthly payment would have been had you spent 198 or less the amount of interest that would have applied monthly will be added for a six month period. ex:: purchase of $50 10/12/11 purchase of $50 10/13/11 purchase of $98 10/14/11 your balance is $198 in terms of how much you owe therefore you will not benefit from the 6 month plan So say your monthly payment is $30 and your interest rate is 19.99% APR (Annual Percentage Rate your breakdown is 1.665% interest monthly which is not much. But will scare you if you weren't looking for it. AlphaDamp CLD Mat - Get more Sound Deadening with less Sound Deadener
RobDH Posted October 12, 2011 Report Posted October 12, 2011 What I know of it. It is like a one time use credit card. It is all based on your credit raiting per purchase. IE: You select bill me later, they send send a credit check for that purchase as if you just applyed for a credit card. If your found in good standing then they will approve x purchase. So it is purchase by purchase case. The better credit you have the more you will be approved for. From what I know, you can get really high limits if you have the credit to do so. (A friend droped about 7k at newegg and was approved). At the same time it is really all depending on credit, and your dept to credit ratio. They are lagit, and have been around for around 10 years to my knowladge. They regularly report to all credit agencys. And like previously stated they do run deals on things. But when you hit the limit for time to pay intrest free then if you recall that initial credit check. Be ready if you have bad credit to get a really bad intrist rate. If you are responsable with your credit and bills. Then go for it. But if it's going to be a really big purchase that you do not know if you can pay off by the promotional intrist free window, especially if its a year or so to pay off. Then you can be stuck with a huge intrest fee/rate.

But depending on what your terms are on the purchase depends on what promotion there is if there is one. IE: if 6 months you would probally be looking at $45 a month to pay it off before the defeard intrest would start.
