marcin93 Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 I have recently started building a box for my 4 SA-8's (which will be in a trunk install)and have ran into a problem. My original plan was to have the four subs and two flared ports on the same side and face them toward the cabin(seal them off from the trunk) But I have realized that I do not have enough room for the two 4" flared ports on the same side as the subs. So now my question is what is the best placement for the ports. Should I wave them in the back of box facing the trunk(back of car)or should i have the subs face the back and ports forward or even something else like ports on side? Thank you for your time. MuRKRoW Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 Subs facing up port to the back. I would do 1 larger vertical port in the middle instead of 2 ports. Basically the same design that Steve Meade has for his 4 18's... but for 8's. You would probably be considered mini-Meade aha.
