chronic2001
4v pre-outs just mean you don't turn you gains up as much to match your head unit . At least that's my understanding. Maxim
4v pre-outs just mean you don't turn you gains up as much to match your head unit . At least that's my understanding. Your subwoofer amp gets a stronger input so it doesn't have to be turned up as high to meet the same output. Allows for more power with a lowered chance for clipping because you're not stressing the amp as hard. Quote wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt

Blackedout
High voltage outputs reduce the signal to noise ratio. Meaning less chance of any RCA induced noise. Amps can run off anywhere from 2v + dependent on the amp. The fact that the gain knob doesn't need to be turned up as far is the least important reasoning behind 4v preouts. If gains are set properly, output should be identical as long as the decks output voltage matches Quote Trunk Build Log
Blackedout
Or exceeds the minimum required input voltage on the amp. Me+ iPhone+ this forum's mobile skin = failure Quote Trunk Build Log
