Replacement for Kicker CV-Rs?

Recommended Posts

Well I currently have 2 Kicker CV-R 12's in a small sealed prefab box. I want to replace them with something in the $150/Sub range (2).

Yes I will be building a custom box for them.

I was looking at RE Audio's SE-X series. Any word on them?

Edit: Amp is Hifonics BRE1600

Why not just build a custom box for those cvr's. Then go from there. It'll be the cheapest route.

maybe he wants to upgrade in the future. if he's even thinking about upgrading, might as well build the box accordingly

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

I'm with captain stupid.

what cvx said..better to have a higher quality woofer with room for upgrading and greater potential...also what vehicle and space available ( just wanting to get as much information as possible before reccomending the subs as to not recommend a sub he wont be able to build a proper box for)

This isn't teeball. YOU DO NOT GET A TROPHY JUST BECAUSE YOU SHOW UP. Put the work in and then maybe get the respect when it has been earned

151.6 with single 12 at 41 hz

153.2 with 2 12's at 43 hz

A 2005 Honda CR-V

It has a rather large trunk space. Tall too. 33.5 Cubic feet of space

your trunk does not have 33.5 cubic feet of space.
