someone1 Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 Hello y'all, I have a pretty simple question that I would appreciate if someone knowledgeable would help answering. I'm torn between what battery to get...It's between this Werker battery Or a kinetik HC600 Now the setup will be a cadillac de ville (which from what I have read, has a 140 amp altenator) with a Audioque HDC3 15" Dual 2 Sub in a 4 cubic foot box tuned at 32hz on a Elemental Design Nine.1 which does 1200 @ 12.8v (So if my maths right, about 1500ish @14.4) Now this battery that I want to get will be a second battery, I'll keep the stock interstate battery in there for now. I'll also be doing the big three to it with 1/0 welding cable. Any suggestions would be help tremendously! Thanks!

Then test you voltage when running full tilt and see what king of drops you're seeing. Why no xs power? Because I'm buying these used, The max price i can afford is 120 shipped lol I think youll be fine with the hc600. Interstates are pretty good batteries. And the big three I was debating on that, I mean I know that the Kinetiks are made for audio applications, and that the HC600 is made for 600 watts so I was just wondering there. By the way, My friend, who I am installing this for, just told me it wasnt a interstae battery...it's just some factory stock Cadillac de ville battery. That's the only problem, I'm installing a system for a friend who lives in Indiana and I live in Alabama so I rather just play it safe then sorry. Lbox88 Posted November 4, 2011 Report Posted November 4, 2011 Well... at AudioSavings, the HC600 is $98.99 shipped brand new. The XS power D680 is $125.99 shipped, also Brand new. When I bought my HC2400 new form Audiosavings, they did carry XS unfortunately. Just trying to get you the best deal at the best price while still getting a good, well known brand with decent feedback/reviews. I don't mean to sound like a dick or anything, I just know how annoying it is to try to save money and end up getting screwed in the end because you find out later that you could have gotten something better for a little more. I would just suggest that you check the site out just in case since we know that it is a reliable source or else it would no longer be on this site. For example: check out my Sig.
