Its alot more convenient than charging it over night on a 1 amp charge or whatever. I just throw it in the truck and come up and check when its in float mode. it holds them at 13.4 make sense N8 thanks. And how often is it reccommended to.charge them? charge time will vary depending on how many batts you have in you bank and how discharged it was. When I first used mine it took a few days to get the full charge, but I have 14 batts hooked up. Its different for everyone.
