yes absolutely. I dont ever have to worry about it. I just throw it in and check on it every few days. Its alot more convenient than charging it over night on a 1 amp charge or whatever.

jeff and I are talking different things. He is talking about total voltage. Im talking where it floats them at.

I just throw it in the truck and come up and check when its in float mode. it holds them at 13.4 make sense

N8 thanks. I have never checked the float voltage, I just look for the smart little green light.

since it sits all the time its usally hooked up.

Mine are resting at 12.7 how long to get them fully charged on average? And how often is it reccommended to.charge them?

charge time will vary depending on how many batts you have in you bank and how discharged it was. When I first used mine it took a few days to get the full charge, but I have 14 batts hooked up. Its different for everyone. But once you get the fully charged unless you drain them with the car off, topping them off in the future will take no time
