Goyo Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 Ok so say i make a 4ft^3 box and put a sub in it with .25 ft^3 displacement...so then my box is 3.75 ft^3 and say my port needs 14 sq inches per ft^3 do i go off of the volume before subwoofer is put in or after? im confused!

This isn't teeball. YOU DO NOT GET A TROPHY JUST BECAUSE YOU SHOW UP. Put the work in and then maybe get the respect when it has been earned 151.6 with single 12 at 41 hz 153.2 with 2 12's at 43 hz power: dd m4

So say my port takes up .15 cu ft and my box comes out to be 3.6ft^3 and my subs recommended ported box volume is 4 cu ft now is the 4 cu ft after displacement of the sub and port?
