I would do it with a low xmax sub.

Jeep Cherokee 4dr -4.75 in front, new rusty's 4.5 in rear leafs -micky thompson 35x14.50x15 -locker rear -Rusty's offroad Engine/transmission/transfer case/crossmember/gas tank skid plates -Warn front bumper with 8000lb winch -Custom rear bumper -Warrior product tube doors (summertime) -Optima redtop (starter) -26XK miles and still runs like a bat out of hell

Kenwood H/U

1/0 wire,

136 amp alt 200 ah batteries 12.7 daily

2 Apsm 1500 @ 2 ohm strapped on zv3 d1 with ns softparts

Mb quart 125.4 wired to 4 aura 6's

3.6 cube box tuned to 36 plays down to 23hz

agreed. Linear Power/Blue had a booth at MECA finals this year and they had some isobaric subs they built. looked really cool. didnt get to hear it though but those were low xmax low power subs

so if you can't give the subs very much power, it doesn't seem like there would be much benefit in doing this compared to traditional routes.

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

when you dont have tons of power on tap then yeah its beneficial. but we are part of a different culture where 2k rms is the norm

in the world of isobarics 500 rms is a lot

Sometimes less is more, I`ve tried squeesing alot af subs in a very limited space (compared to the ideal volume), just not worth it. Have done some simulations with isobaric setups and it gives a slight boost on the lower frequenzy`s. And lower volume than requiered will often cause a peaky response.
