i gotta join in guys! So a few years back Jeep came out with the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon (this model has electric locking differentials) .... 1 day this customer comes in with his brand new 2004 Jeep Rubicon, and he wants to do a lift kit tires and wheels.... so im out front hard selling this muffugga a lift. all of a sudden a hellicopter flies over head, and the customer proceeds to walk back into the shop waiving for me to follow (seemed like he was a little paranoid, but didnt think anything of it) so about a week later he drops his Jeep off for us to lift. all day long he called every hour on the hour about 8 times asking if his Jeep was finished yet! LOL all 8 times we let him know that his Jeep would not be ready untill tomorrow. So now its the next day, and the Jeep has been done for over 2 hours LOL...... i left the customer a message as soon as it was finished. Now several days have gone by, and still no customer! the day he dropped it off was a Tuesday, and now its the following Monday i clearly told the customer that his Jeep would be ready in 2 days. so just about lunch time i get a phone call from the customer, and he wants to know when his Jeep would be finished LOL. i kindly let the customer know that his rig was ready to roll.... he says "outstanding, you guys did a real fast job" LOL the customer comes in to p/u his Jeep and after he and i took it for a test drive i let him know that i need it back in 500 miles to do a retourqe and to make sure everything was safe to wheel/drive. now a couple days go by and while i was @ lunch the same guy calls and wants to speak to me.... the other sales guy lets him know that im @ lunch for another 35-40 minutes! the customer requests that we let him stay on hold untill i get back from lunch LOL. after about 10-15 minutes my manager p/u the phone to ask the customer if theres any way he could help him.... the customer replies that he would be more than happy to wait for Jeff. so now about 45 mins from when the customer was 1st put on hold i get back from lunch. the guys let me in on whats going on, and after a good laugh but before i punch back in i take this very important call! the customer tells me that he needs to come in and show me something ASAP, but he could not talk about it on the phone! i kindly told him to get his ass on down here. the customer does not live very close to our shop so it takes him a couple hours to get there. so now the Jeep is here and i ask the customer what was the matter.... he then asks me if there is somewhere private that we could talk! so we go into my managers office and sit down. my manager Jesse asks the customer how can we help you out? the customer proceeds to tell us that last night while he was sleeping the government installed remote controll servos on his axles so they could drive his Jeep from a satelite in outter space LOL.... he than tells us not to worry because he already cut the wires that went to the servos! so after we showed him that he actually cut the wires to his Electric Locking Differentials he starts asking us for an estimate to take all the "electric" shit off his Jeep LOL. we kindly told this CrackHead that he would be better off just selling the jeep and getting a base model instead! "Farking Crackheads" :D
