Theoretically not to big, not too small. But thats just me, haha. I had one if my nightshade 15's in a 6 cube box when it's only recommended to be in about 3-3.5 and it slammed. That's why I always do bigger boxes. Just my .02 Good logic, in this case its what he can fit under the seat. If he can fit the whole 2 cubes under there, go for it.
