Building a wall, Mids are OK? Pic inside

Building a wall in my four door Focus. two ported 18"s, and I want to put a couple mids in their own sealed chamber. Is it alright to put mids in there, will the subs have any effect on them, if everything is firing forward?

If its in its own sealed chamber i wouldnt think itd be a problem.

So what you are trying to do is, take up some volume of the enclosure and have mids sit between sub and port...

Why not build trim panels to house the mids?

No, I ran out of space for more speakers so this was the only area left. Just wondering what happens to the sounds waves...if anything.

Why not put a 45 there instead of a box? that would work better...

Instead of putting a box inside the box for the mids put a 45 in that corner.

Oh for sure, the whole box will be 45's galore, but before I actually build it, need to know if mids in that area are cool.

When cutting, be exact and on point.

Make sure you have the time to dedicate on the build.

Money is gonna be spent very quickly.

Lots of titebond 3, Fb resin and mat, lots of screws, a couple.brushes for resin,

Sand paper, or air tool.

Oh... Lots of free time.

Ha

But what subs and electrical are you planning to run

I feel like your subs would man handle your mids if they were there.
