TheNewbie
The amp does not push out rated power, I don't have any experience with the amps, so not sure how well they do but on the site you link it says there not CEA complient, meaning they don't push rated. kam311
There are a lot of non cea compliant companies they do rated even overrates. But in the case of the RE amps they don't do rated and I wouldn't waste money on them so far... What brands are the exception to this? Check out my build log: http://www.stevemead...60#entry1958353 Different folks have different strokes. Hadec
Hifonic brutus is CEA-2006 certified. i happen to own 2 of them and the RE are close to it or maybe louder by a bit I'm actually looking for an amp to power 2.5k-3k watts. I cant really spend more over 350 though. So I'm kinda sticking with this amp for now and sell it cheap later when I want to upgrade. Working on my first car audio build ever! Miguels
honestly i dont know why they say they are no good when my brother is running one at 2 ohm making it 1700 rms and sound louder than my 2 kicker 15L7 on Hifonic Brutus 2400 at 1 ohm 2400 rms my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
