Or the other alternative is...Buy the amp you want and if its too much for the subs then TURN IT DOWN. Why does everyone seem to think that you have to use the full potential of your amp. Buy bigger than you need then if you ever want to upgrade you already have the power on hand and dont have to spend that money again.

I'm buying two Crescendo's 5500 just so I NEVER have to buy another sub amp. I'm not going to be running full power...ever.

thats what you say now... once you get into the mid 50s, the itch makes you want to get louder, trust me, i didnt think it would happen to me... and it did... you will want louder eventually, especially if you got a daily over 150~ db

No, there is no way I will be doing a rebuild. My car is done. Not worth the money, all those little gains.
