DO-18 Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 I just got a pair of DC audio Lvl 4 15s with upgraded coils and i'm debating on which amp to buy, i was kinda leaning toward the crescendo since i have read manny good post about them but a friend of mine suggested the cadence olympia, my current electrical set up is 180amp alt, stock battery up front and two khc2000 in the rear. any suggestios?
Guest Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 2000w a piece is way too much for a level 4, even with upgrades. you should've gotten the XL's if you want that much power. i'd stick with 1500 a piece, but ive never owned them so dont shoot the messenger.

Why does everyone seem to think that you have to use the full potential of your amp. JEMT8 Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 I have owned a lvl 4 and personally i wouldn't feel comfortable running more then 1500 to it unless you want to cook some bacon and eggs on the dustcap.
