Hifonics BRZ2400.1D VS RE XTX5000.1

Well, I amin the market for a new amp, and thought I'd take a look. I'm looking for something that can do at least 2,000 RMS Watts at 1 Ohm Stable. My amp in question will be pushing a dual 2 ohm 2,000+ Watt RMS single 15.

I know that most would classify Hifonics as a toy, or sub-par, but I've read good things about their Brutus series.

I've also read mixed emotions regarding the RE XTX.

My question really lies in the overall performance, for this temporary amp.

The Hifonics claim to have a frequency responce at as low as 30Hz, where asthe XTX can go down to 17. The sub can do 20Hz just fine.

Power is not an issue, for I will be installing a high output alt and higher quality battery.

The XTX does 5,000 Watts Peak/2,500 Watts RMS at 1 Ohm stable, whereas the Hifonics only does 2400 RMS at 1 Ohm, but peak? 4,800? It didn't ever say, unless me being nearly blind, I missed it.

BRZ is Class D, and the RE is Class DE. (E?)

The BRZ, and this is why it has the lead on me, is CEA-2006 Compliant, whereas the RE apparently isn't.

My question really lies in, other than the BRZ2400.1D, I'm sleeping on the XTX5000.1. Just wanted to know.

What other options are there? Or, what is your opinion on one of the two?

For other options, I have up to a $450 (Will bite my tongue and do a $500) limit.
