go into the area you want the box to be with a measuring tape.. and measure out at the max height, width, and length so he has some numbers to work with

ok, and does any1 know anything about the sub sitting on top of the seat and then extending the box down to the floor, like over the front, would that help with the size to make it bigger but smaller? if that makes sence

yes it would increase the size of the box.. more cubes..

so im feeling totally stupid right now, the more cubes the smaller the box can be on the seat by increasing it by going over and down to the floor? and more cubes means higher volume? or louder?

if you dont go over onto the floor your box will be smaller.. less cubes.. typically the bigger the box the louder you can get if you have the power to back it up.. if you can do it overflow the box to the floor, it will add stability and size and cubes to your box.

ok so yea i want it going over to the floor, well its a dc lvl 4 1000w rms, and ill b feeding it with a t1k 1514 rms at 1 ohm, so i should be about right i suppose

u know what, it may be....there are no box recommendations for mt's so i kinda just went of specs for the btl which is 3-5cubes....u want me to re-do it and knock it down to like 3.5 or so per sub?

Hey bro i kinda fucked up on cutting the wood and cut the front and back 1.5"s too tall. i would end up putting the front and back on the outside the box not inside. now if i moved the port up .75 i would have 1.5 more inches from the back wall then what i did before. how much would that effect my tuning? does that make sence? lol

what size sub is that for, and what is it tuned to? cause that box looks like i could make it fit for my dc nice and easy
