If your only an 1" away through the door, then take the door sills off and the rubber around the opening. Then if you cut the pinch mold it should give you about 1" of play. yeah... about an inch or so.. i can go out and measure it and i can tell ya... what do you mean cut the pinch mold ???? Then you gain an 1" Thats what i was talking about with our civic. Had to cut it off. same thing on my van..
