New trunk Project

May not be for awhile because of lack of money, but i need some advise on my new trunk build. As of now i have just 2 12s ported on 1kw, nothing special... But i was thinking and i either wanna do a 4th order bandpass box w either 4 12s or some 15s firing into the trunk or seal the trunk off completely and just fire into the cabin, i would be upgrading subs to some dc's but i dont know yet. Any ideas?

There is no way you would ever be able to fit a 4th order for 4 12's in your Passat's trunk.

ok well maybe not 4 12s but maybe just 2. it does have a big ass trunk though. my box in there atm is 4 cuft net inside and i can fit probly 2 of those in there. i may have no trunk left but there might be room. I know the width is either 36 or 38 inches wide, and 18 inches tall, the depth i have no clue about though...

If you wanted to try a 4 th u would want to give each driver .75 sealed so 3 cubes sealed and 4.5 ported in a trunk setup I'd do subs port forward sealed off

what would result in the better sounding? im going for a daily driver, spl is nice but no high tuning for music. I want a good compromise of loudness and quality. As of now my box is tuned to 32 hz and I like it, its not that loud but it defiantly gets the job done, but we all know on here that the job is never done...
