srt10ram Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anything ever goes wrong with my new Fi Bl 12in., would it be possible to use an Fi BTL 12in. recone kit. Also, if it were possible, would I be able to get any more performance (More power handling) out of the sub with the BTL recone? Thanks Quote

The price difference between the BL & BTL re-cones is small and I figured if I blow the BL I could gain a little more performance with the BTL re-cone. One last thing, will my Fully Loaded BL, handle 2000 clean un-clipped watts? It's in a 2.5cu.ft. box @34HZ. Quote

Of course...FI is good for handling over its rated wattage...just make sure its clean and unclipped or else you are asking for thermal failure. Quote
