Guest
ok this is what it says depends on how much power you are going to be running the subwoofer has a thermal advantage with the 4 inch coiil whats "it". you're still not providing a link. but yeah, 4" coils have better heat dissipation because of more surface area. ChevyBoy95
ok this is what it says depends on how much power you are going to be running the subwoofer has a thermal advantage with the 4 inch coiil it's like I said above "THERMAL HANDLING". Meaning it can take dissipate heat more quickly than a 3in coil, or 2.5in coil. The bigger the coil, the more surface area of coil therefore there is more to heat up so it takes longer. In short, 4in coil wont get as hot as fast as a 3in coil. KHRISS
would that be good for SPL race ? is it like a amp the more air it gets the better it performs right? KHRISS
so the more eat dissipates the better the subwoofer performs? ChevyBoy95
would that be good for SPL race ? is it like a amp the more air it gets the better it performs right? SPL race? you mean bass race? It depends. It doesn't necessarily get more air flow, but does "touch" more air in the since it has a bigger surface area, which dissipates heat better.
