Well I was supposed to finish this today. I was planning on priming it and letting it dry then wet sanding it and doing the final primer.

BUT the new filler primer I bought didnt want to follow that plan. BTW its RUSTOLEUM FILLER PRIMER never again buying that shit for fabrication

fuck man I hate that fucking shit. the same shit happened to me ALL THE TIME when I was trying to paint my trunk panel after debadging it. seriously took 2 months to complete because I didn't even want to see how the paint had fucked up when I checked up on it. I feel like sometimes it's the chemical between paint brands. I used duplicolor primer and it seemed to do a decent job.

What do you normally use for filler primer? That's terrible! And rustoleum is usually pretty decent stuff.

did you apply light layers or a lot at once? I used that on my door pods with no issues, but once again, I feel like sometimes the chemicals between paints don't like to lay

weird I used the same stuff in my dash bezel and had no problems with it

a lot of answers point to contaminates in between layers, such as oil from hands after feeling how smooth it is. Or too thick of a layer

Damn that sucks.. You had that bish sanded perfect!!! Feck. Just cut your losses and reprimer it, after you do a assload of sanding to get that shit off:/
