If you guys haven't noticed a rebuild is in THOUGHT process havent done anything except get equipment.

Follow the SQ thread here, but please don't clutter it unless you have some solid advice, id rather clutter my build log

Thanks guys, this build will take a while, but I have summer off, so expect BIG things then. I'm transferring to another university next semester and I'm hoping to be 100% happy with my build by then. This could be costly but if it's done right and I'm totally happy with it then I can move on to my next project after I finish school.

Its cool to see how the build progressed from just door speakers and a 8 to glassed tweeters and kick pods and ur fab work with boxes is just sick so jelly over that. But now ur buulding a loud sq car and if build history continues ull pull it off easily and make it look great. Ill probly pm u in a few weeks for some fiberglass tips

Thanks Colton, I want this to be my final build, on the scion and I have decided that I really like SQ that gets loud! Also bass wise I like super lows but not violent enough to make everything rattle.

But later...when my GF gets a new car I'll be picking up her explorer and I'll build a wall in there. 4 18's on 15k or something stupid like that. That isnt for a while though I want to understand SQ as much as I can first and win a comp

Pioneer PRS-80

Vifa/Sundown speakers in 3 way active set up (still looking for the midrange)

Amps: All Alpine early 90's amps f407, f1507, t757

Lots of fiber glassing and all speakers on axis to the drivers ears!

Here's what I purchased today all I have to purchase left is the midrage (3-4" speaker) and the iPad mini

some more old alpine goodness that just came in. MRV F1507, its a little smaller than my Sundown 3500 LOL but only does 900 x 4 ohms. Once I opened it up I found out why 1/3 of the board is for the eq and processing; awesome.
