Which speakers to get please help

My mom is going to get me some new speakers for christmas. But i have no idea which ones to get. i either want two of these in this box

would you consider anything else? whats the budget? and why not build a custom box?

Okay, first off, you may want to look into some better subs. neither of those subs are very good, especially for the price they're asking.

second, prefab boxes are a big no-no around here. a lot of how loud and how good a speaker sounds comes down to the box you put them in. you can build your own box that is tuned and designed SPECIFICALLY for your subs for a fraction of the cost, and it will easily be twice as loud and sound soooo much better. almost everyone on here will agree with this.

Even that "pro-box" is a rip off. I can design you a box that will sound much better and louder than that.

also i noticed you didn't list an amplifier. do you already have one?

lastly, what kind of vehicle is this going in?

give us a price range and we can help you find a decent starter system.

I'm goin out on a limb based on the first subs/box and saying your budget is about $300?

2-12" MB quart subs - $100

MBQuart 1000.1D with 4 Awg kit - $175

Build yourself a 3-4 cube ported box and call it a day. It may seem a bit daunting to build your own box for the first time but it's totally worth it when you're done.
