I love it!! i have the 2500hd and its unfortunately got the 496 in it with the allison tranny (that is a fucking beast) i have some performance stuff done to it to try to boost the milage and it gets about 11 (with 1000 lb system in and dual alts) so thats not terrible. and about 15-16 on the highway. This is my daily truck, i have no other vehicle and i would not trade it for the world. Ill die with this truck. Its has never had a problem i couldnt fix, never been to a shop except for tires. its got about 80k on it and no issue at all. All of that being said i have had this truck since 2003 and its been through hell and back. When i was younger i drove it like a dumb ass..its not a sports car but it does do a mean burn out because of the torque its got to give you an idea this is my 5th set of tires on the truck and like i said 80k miles so its a trooper for still wanting to run and never having any major problems. All n all great truck. i have some friends with the 1500 which im assuming you are looking into if you are looking at canyon size trucks. they have had the same experience i have had.
