Haha thanks man that comment means a lot to me. If I had all that equipment I would tune somewhere between 28-35hz and use 12-16 square inches per cuft. When demoing it'll probably be best with the drivers door and window shut and the passenger door open. That way it will load up your side and get properly windy for the passengers. If you're planning on getting some numbers then the port on one side is more peaky in terms of messing around with opening doors and windows but if you want a proper steetbasser then a big port along the top would be amazing and mean that it loads a bit more evenly across the cabin.

well i was just thinking with the doors open it wont ruin my shit that much lol cause idk if youve seen the vids but when the doors are closed in my last vid that fucker looks like its gonna fall off the windshield looks like its gonna just blow out (i know it wont right now but it looks mean)

haah and secondly i dont want to leave there side open and sit in the side thats all closed up lol ive done that before and it hurts haha

once it gets up and playing again hopefully this weekend ill have some of the stuff i want to do inside the box done so i can play with it again and see how everything is looking while it plays

ya i knew i would have issues with how loud it is across the cabin but from what i have heard and a few extremely knowledgable people i have talked to they say numbers wise cones are louder than ports so cram as much cone area as close to the meter as possible....so thats what i did lol also i can recline my seat until it hits the box which is nice cause im 6'5 and a wall is sometimes an issue when your that big lol

I presume they put the meter on the passenger side in the states? What I meant to say is that the port goes as far away from the meter as possible for numbers. So in England it goes on the right side of the car (looking at it from the front) and in the states it goes on the left side. If you plan on demoing with the doors shut but both windows open then having the port in the middle would make it a bit more even pressure. Not that it would sound bad or anything with the port to the side, just a bit different.

o yes you are exactly right. if you are looking into the front of the car its meter on the left so all my subs are on the left (my passenger side your drivers side), i have not had time to meter it from the other side and see how much drop their really is but im sure there is a substantial drop on the side with the port

I'm curious about this Jon. What was the main reason to port on driver side instead of the middle? Seems like the port between the seats would've freed up air flow too. I'm just wondering is all.

Thinking more about it, you could have them laid out like this:

That way it would load more evenly off the seats.

Typically port on the drivers side pressurizes the passenger side of the windshield.
