Skadoodat
Alright, so I'm planning a build for my S10 reg cab, and need help designing the box. It's going to be 2 sa-10's in a 2 cu. ft box net, ported, tuned to 33-35 Hz. Also powered by a SAZ-1500 My max dimensions are 50"L, 22"H, 9"D bottom, 5"D top. I made up a box using the torres box calculator, but I was having problems with the port. Still not sure about which kind of port to use, But i may just use a slot. If anyone can help me out, or design me a box, I'd appreciate it!

Lbox88
I did one where it would be subs forward port passenger side 22H x 50W x 4D1 x 8D2 using 1-6"x28" aero port and got 2.11 ft^3, 13.39 port per foot, tuning of 33.37Hz. Wasnt the end of the port too close to the subs since its such a long port? Thats the problem I was running into.
Lbox88
I did one where it would be subs forward port passenger side 20H x 50W x 4D1 x 8D2 using 1-5"x18" aero port and got 2.12 ft^3, 9.24 port per foot, tuning of 33.9Hz. Wasnt the end of the port too close to the subs since its such a long port? Thats the problem I was running into. better? I don't know how much port those SA's like, and the 5 puts it on the low side but it should be ok. This would give you a good 10" of free space between subs. loudNlow87
Sorry it took so long. Passed out the other night. Here's 2 cubes @ 34Hz with over 21" of port. loudNlow87
When cutting out the baffle, try to keep the subs low to avoid mounting depth issues. Angles are 79.3 degrees. Also, the ports say 18.25" long, but you gotta account for the 3/4" top thickness. So however you choose to mount them, total length should be 19". I would make them 18.25 long, mount them to the underside of the top, that way you can use a router to flare the MDF a bit.
