icewall Posted December 7, 2011 Report Share Posted December 7, 2011 back in 2001I owned 2 mtx 81000d's and while they weren't perfect they flat out performed! This is not the case with my current amps. In order to get similar performance out of "more" power, I need to turn bass boost all the way up (I NEVER use bass boost) and even then its not the same but much better.
