  1. should be fine around 14-16 per cubic foot. I tend to like 14-15 as that gets the port shorter and still gives plenty of air movement without noise.
  2. Purchased a sundown saz-3000d. He was willing to work with me on the price and the item was shipped fast and packed very well. also I can tell he takes care of his gear... for an amp built in 2007 it is in great shape! (heck almost still looks brand new)

two things I suggest. 1.) diymobileaudio.com is the place to be 2.) read hybrid audio's manuals. they will give you a VERY solid foundation when it comes to placement and install.
  6. yup, best to create your own as passives are made for specific drivers, change one variable such as impedance or inductance and crossover points end up different than intended.
  7. an audioque 1200d is in that price range.
  8. if you do make a spacer its best to use a hard wood like birch as it will do well when things get wet and is better for high frequencies.
  9. yeah most people shoot for around 38hz
  10. the type r from what I remember is more in-between it all. not really a pure sq sub and not meant for spl but if you built a box the right way you could custom taylor to what you would need.
  11. I agree, something from audioque or maybe even FI car audio.
