DK99 Posted December 10, 2011 Report Share Posted December 10, 2011 I need to get more voltage I have a 2000 cavalier with a 2.2 liter engine so the biggest alt I can go is around 160amp I have a 105 amp now. what I was thinking is using a smaller pulley to increase my voltage would that work Hi SMD Members If anybody has computer problems and is an SMD member with at least 150 posts I will fix your problems for free by phone support or I can also fix your computer over the internet.... Just based on what I have read about building aftermaket Alts from some of the top guys (mechman and dc power) a smaller pulley isnt going to work. DK99 Posted December 10, 2011 Author Report Share Posted December 10, 2011 Thanks for the replies Im running 2000rms and I have 3 batteries, I got the box done but when I gave you the measurements I messed up and did not compensate for my trunk lid arms so I have too cut a little bit of metal.. I did put it In my back seat and it sounded amazing. Im hoping to get some free time to get it done..
