One side is normal but the other side actually bolted to the alt instead of having a bracket on the back to bolt straight through. I ended up having to make my own bolt and nut to fit. After about 2 hours I got it on and it works perfect. I do have to give Mike Singer the best complaint that I think he could possibly get. The power stud was 3/8" and the ground stud is 1/2". I had to drill out all of the ring terminals to make them fit right.
matt402 Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 well its been a while and there was a small change in product...instead of the dc alt i ended up getting singer 350 amp alt....the singer alt jus found its new home on my truck tonight....well i must say just by swapping out alts...on the way home after playing some of the familiar songs i could tell a difference lol...batteries are pretty low after being on a stock alt for so long (put them on charge a lil bit after alt got put on) but even with the batteries bein low...voltage drop went from 11s to 13s....at first went to 13.5 but by the time i was almost home it wasnt dropping below 13.8...so a good battery charge will do me some good lol...but anyhow just figured i'd give the update on how things are going...im hoping i might decide to buy a camera when income taxes come in so i can throw some vids up. well thats it for now, hopefully ill have more updates for yall soon singer alts ftw!
