I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
kingsuv
Ok, so to make the rings a few sizes were needed. First I had to build up 3/4 to get over the bump out for the speaker in the door. I then added 1/4 over the top with the ineer hole about 1/2" smaller then the 3/4 ring. I then glued thos 2 together to make the outter ring and wrapped them in carpet. I wanted to wrap them in vinyl, but it was too much of a strech to have them work out. At least for my skill level in wrapping. I then made the inner ring using 1/4 board and making the outer part 1/8" smaller then the inner ring of the outside ring. Then cut the inner part the same size as my speaker opening. I wrapped this in vinyl to give ut a 2 tone look. You can see here the 2 rings before the inner ring was wrapped. At the same time I cut the inner rings, I also added plexi for the led lighting. Then added a black painted ring to disfuse the light in the right direction. Once all the rings are ready I stacked them in one layer at a time and glued the edges to hold them in place. I tape the plexi led strip and backer together with black tape. this keeps it all together and helps the light only show where you want it. Little test fit to make sure it works and its ready to by added to the door panel. Designing, building, and shipping boxes.
