Landon75 Posted December 11, 2011 Report Posted December 11, 2011 the 8s. a guy with a mustang had 4 dd 9508s firing forward and that sucker pounded. and i always liked the whole sleeper thing where you could somewhat hide the subs and tell you buddies oh i just have a few 8s its pretty good annd then suprise the heck out of em. well good luck with figuring it out ill be watching your build when it starts
baaudio Posted December 11, 2011 Report Posted December 11, 2011 I did two 10s porter in my buddies f150 identical to yours. He had a prefab sealed box and I told him I could make it wayyy louder. I got 2.5 cubes out of it. 50.5" wide 16" deep. It was a downfire so I basically built a box with end caps that made it 50.5. Box was 16" deep x 49" wide x 7 3/4" tall. Used two 3" PVC ports. I'll post pics later if you want. Rear seat had to be raised a bit. I thought you were talking about if you do 15s , but yeah your 18 also need bigger box and alot more power lol.. But good box right port and power the 8s would kill . iv herd 4 8 inw7s under seat with subs n port forward that were sick as fuck on 2k , so im sure we could get louder than that. they were prolly right there with your 18 and smashed lows and had a very good range it could hit . 2 12ks and i dont know what to do build in the works!
