xterraboy03
What intake is that? Shows me a place for 1 more batt. More is alway better Intake is made by myself, using the stock MAF Sensor tube and a 60 degree 3" tube, and then a Spectre 3" Air Filter. And I think I could fit one more battery...lol Quote 03' NISSAN XTERRA (1) AQ3500d (1) AQ4x90 (1) Audio Control Line Driver (4) DC LVL 4 15's Cresendo Mids and Highs 100' of 0/guage Big Three Mechman 270a Charging @ 16.5v (6) XS D1400's Highest Termlab Score 149.9 at the kick & 166.1 in the Port/ on stock electrical and 1 DC XL M1 Updated JUNE 2012*****MY BUILD LOG USACI REGION 6 POINTS LEADER 2011 USACI KANSAS RECORD HOLDER 2011 Team DC http://www.dcsoundlab.com/

xterraboy03
Good work man. Closer pics to see modifications needed to add the second batt would be nice.. I will put a pic up soon...but basically cleared everything off the turn LT front apron and rerouted some wiring. I bought a 12"x12" sheet of 16 gauge metal. Brought it home set my battery on it outlined it and then bent up two edges to about 2" creating a tray. Next I filled in all the holes in the apron to keep road debris from getting underneath the tray. Set the tray in and created a level battery tray by using thick rubber washers. Ran 2" bolts through the battery tray down thru the apron. Before attaching the tray we took all thread and mounted it to the tray to use as a battery clamp. The bar across the top is actually a section of ground steak I bought at home depot for $3 and it works perfect. Before installing the tray I used 3M undercoating and sprayed the tray and the apron. Installed Tray and then sprayed undercoating on the inside of the fender well where the bolts were to keep things from rusting. Pics will be up soon!
