  1. Crossovers included? And would any tweeter work n sound good? I have some old alpine type r tweets chillen..
  2. a lot of sets will be way better than stock with a price range like that.. I would say go with 6.5s because of the bigger veriaty..
  3. My model car only came with spots for 2 speakers, one in each door, I would most likely add some tweets on the dash or something.. and yea your right, I have an alpine power pack somewhere in the garage that I got a long time ago. I think it does almost 50rms per channel which would actually be perfect for what I'm wanting.. thanks for the reminder!
  4. I didn't want a 4 channel to take up room, the car is small coming from an suv to a hatch.. I wanted to know if any combo of speakers and deck would sound good.. I mean giving less than 20rms each on only 2 speakers I know it wouldnt be great but maybe someone knew a secret I didn't.. all I'm looking for is a nice clean sounding set up with what I have to work with, money no really a problem.. but I would have wantd to keep from buying an amp in general..
  5. I just picked up a 92 honda civic hatchback and it only has room for a pair of speakers on the doors.. it came with an older model sony single din and a pair of old skool blue pioneer speakers, personally I think I can get a wayy nicer set up just by swapping em with different brand moodels.. I don't plan on doing anythng big at all so my question is what would be a good set up for just running a pair of speakers and maybe some tweets off a single din stereo? I always wanted to try the rf t265s but from the power of a stereo alone I don't think they'll do any justice.. recommendations?
  6. Just my experiance, had all four door speakers off a 4x100 amp and that sounded good but I wanted a little more crisp to my highs so I ran a pair of aq supertweets off my headunit and the highs scream now.. only like 50bucks and make a nice difference.
  7. sorry, thought the 8gauge was in ft.. lol
  8. could fooled me.. looks damn good.. and like the shade of the tail lights..
  9. I hate being a last minute buyer but some things came up and now i have to wait till next weeks pay for a pair of xp3000s, but as of right now it says the xp3000 are unavailible..? Can i still catch the group buy price as long as i place an order before 04/13/12 midnight est..?
  10. Good explanation and i have experianced it. Ran my amp at .5 of a ohm (is only 1 ohm stable) and only one run of 0awg the with one batt, amp would get really hot and ocasionlly turn off. Now have the same amp at 1 ohm with dual inputs 0awg runs on same batt and it is puttin down good power at long periods of time and barely gets warm if that..
  11. I just got my box design for 2a dcxl 15s and it was perfect for what i wanted.. i would say contact 4CVX12S and talk to him.. good dude and great designs
  12. I used tititebond II and wood screw, shits a damn rock.. and i used 3M fiberglass resin for the inside and 45s..
  13. I know exactly what your talking about.. but i have no clue what the actuall name is..
  14. Thanks 01exsport! I didn't know that.. makes me feel a little more secure about getting the xp3000s and for cheaper.. btw does anyone know the audiosavings/xspower xp battery deadline?
  15. I'm on the same boat, just got a saz4500 for two dcxl15s.. I will be only keeping 1 alt and its a 270 amp dcpower and I was told to run 3-4 batts in the back.. I'm looking at the xs xp3000 but they're 3000w while the xs d3100 are 5000w, which is a mighty difference in the end..
  16. Just got my first beefy amp from this guy. We met up to avoid shipping and he showed me a brand new in box saz4500 as promise. He opened it in front of me and everything was minty.. great guy and pleased with everything.. A+ work my friend. ps. And he gave me some good tips on my soon to be build.. thanks bro!
  17. I installed my aq supertweets on my dash and added a stinger tweet bass blocker and I love the distance you get with these.. not to mention the sleek shiney design they carry looks sick on the dash.. imo.
  18. I've had my bxi2600 running strong for over a year.. but it does tend to get a little hot to the touch.. but for their prices, I would buy again..
  19. yea I had them in running side by side and didn't get any issues but I will most likely zip tie the speaker wires to the car wiring harness that goes all the way to the back, and do the power wire tied to the seat bracket (about 5inches from the other wiring.)
