RooTxBeeR Posted December 16, 2011 Report Posted December 16, 2011 So I have these 2 Kenwood towers, they are ported towers with a single flared aero port that is 2.5in wide and 4.75in long. I put that along with the box dimension and got some super low tunings, which this is not at, because 40 and below is not audible, but above that it slams. I need some help figuring out it's tuning frequency. Here's some pics, one containing the dimensions of the box. Also the box is made with .5" wood. I mean, it can play on my level, but it is also peaks in the 50's. There is no HPF or LPF, I am saying its crazy that if it really is tuned to 29Hz, it can play all the way up 65+. On my level by wiz khalifa, the lower notes are hard, but not as hard as notes around 50-60, where the box peaks. Although, the bass in Sugga Cooka by DC Yung Hot, is to low and sounds bad, which is 28Hz bass.
