all thread/bolts to connect speakers/amp?

I've seen a few box builds where it looks like people use a length off all thread or a bolt to connect inside/outside the box and I've just wondered exactly what's the point and how its done?

Usually I drill a small hole run the wires through it then wood putty/silicon the hole closed..

lol

or you can just start hooking shit up together and blow up speakers and your amp

I think its to make sur that there are no air leaks :pardon: but im just guessin :peepwall:

the bolts are so you can change the ohm load when u please. for daily and comp. I use the bolts even though i dont comete cuz its easy. i would run them through a hole i just dont trust i would seal it well enough. lol
