so right now i have a 10" L7 in my Honda Del Sol, im thinking about "upgrading" but im not sure what to get, i dont have a ton of room, google honda del sol, its going behind the seats, im thinking either 1 12 or 2 8s, i dont hate the l7 i just want something louder which is probably difficult considering my space requirements. I can build my own box just looking to see if anyone had an idea for such a small car what to do.

Also-

putting the sub(s) in the trunk is not an option due to the secondary wall between the trunk and cabin area, im looking for spl, i even thought about a blowthrough but didnt know how hard it would be to do to this car

Thanks!

i made 2 boxes for the l7, a sealed and a ported, i will end up selling those with the sub so i figure i can probably get close to 200 out of that along with a little extra i have to spend on it, i dont have a ton to drop on car audio stuff but i wanted a bit of an upgrade to what i have now, i can probably save up to 300 if needed, i just want to get loud in a little car

i got just under 3cu without any displacement. if your going for spl i would do the 2 eights, out of those options. but those 12s could get loud and you might just be able to squeeze one in that little area. actually i would run 2 10s in that space. more cone area than the 8s and should be comfortable in that room.

Edit: forgot about budget... in that case 12 all the way. i like my AQs
