mattc3366
Its not led but I used a neon tube I bought from a local auto store and it could be synced to the bass with a sensitivity knob. Only down fall is getting two of them to be perfect timing. beat2deth
ive know a couple ppl that have wired them using the amps remote/ground, but ive heard that you risk blowing the amp doing that. im not 100% so dont quote me on it. lowsound10
you can buy a module that you hook up leds too. i have one its alright not exact. i think you can hook it up to your speaker terminals but its not the best thing to do. BooMBoX
The easiest way is to wire the led's directly into the subs inputs from the amplifier. That way when the sub gets power the led's also get power, this causes the led to blink and dim with the amount of power going to the sub. I haven't had any problems with this setup but I believe that it all depends on the amount of led's you will be running.
Autruche
I can't remember who made it but there was a neat unit that someone showed me that you hooked in-line with your RCAs and as more power would flow through the RCAs the LEDs would get brighter. You could adjust the sensitivity of it and whatnot too. Perhaps someone else would know what I'm talking about, I cannot seem to find it. Quote Need Test Tones/Sine Waves? flwatersaver
Back in the day we ran some regular Christmas lights off of a ppi amp. It worked well. SpawnZ
A quick Google search, and I found this. Also, you should never hook them up directly to your amp. It could kill it.
