Sid420 Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 What would be a good setup for my friend? He listening to hardcore metal like scermo and hard rock. Rarely anything else. So he wants 18's but I don't know what they would sound with all the kick pedals and he wants this to be a big install that he is putting in MY hands. So I dont want to screw up and him hate it. Any advice would be awesome.

Anyone who says they can't keep up either don't know, or hasn't heard a good setup. My 18's do just fine on Metal and will roll off around 18hz. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Design the box right and don't tune too low (38hz should do well) wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt
